An exhibition of  paintings, sculptures, installations and photography by 15 artists - Ambika Magotra, Darshan Chandekar, Deepak Khandelwal, Kunal Sinha, Manas Baruah, Manikanta Chaudhury, Pradeep Kannan, Prasanna Baruah, Rahul Gupta, Ramneek Kaur Majithia, Rajan De, Sarita Karandikar, Sasi Kumar, Sasi Menon and Usha Nehru Patel.
Art Nouveau in association with Pearl academy of fashion presents Samanvaya 2011, a group exhibition of paintings, sculptures and installations by 15 artists. Samanvaya was conceptualized in 2008 and is being held as an annual art show every year for the art admirers.
This year the theme of the show is ‘Good Earth’. The exhibition showcases art works that speak to the Earth’s regenerative spirit and to humankind’s close relationship to nature and the land.  The concerns voiced by the artists range from environmental issues to personal memories and narratives of love and their relationship for Mother Earth.
‘This exhibition looks at both individual and collective evolution of both image and narrative. The sizeable body of work is the contribution of some exceptionally talented artists, each one of whom have an alternate profession and are associated with the PAF in various ways.’ Says Ameeshi Tapuriah of Art Nouveau.
The mediums employed by the artists range from conventional forms of artistic expression, like sculptures made from metal & stone, pen & ink on paper, multimedia installations, oil on canvas and Digital printing.
